I had the MRI for my head on Tuesday.

The results were input less than two hours of having finished the MRI. Since I don’t like to wait I obviously look at it immediately.

Right cerebellopontine angle mass with a small area of extension into the right internal auditory canal, consistent with a meningioma versus acoustic schwannoma/neuroma. There is mass effect upon the adjacent pons, cerebellum, and middle cerebellar peduncle.

I’m not exactly sure how I’m feeling right now. I do know I have a lot of relief knowing that everything that’s been happening to me for almost 10 years isn’t me being a hypochondriac.
